Buttons

A Button gives a message a concise action. For an announcement, a Link Button can point to an event page, help article or signup website.

Add an Action Row, then a Button, or choose Button in a Section’s accessory slot.
Open Configure and select the Link style.
Set a short label and a complete https:// URL.
Optionally use the Button’s emoji control.

In the editor, clicking its text edits it. In a usable preview, an enabled Link Button follows its literal URL. Disabled buttons do not navigate.

Other button styles have different requirements. A custom action needs an application to receive an interaction. Premium buttons have purchase-specific requirements and are not substitutes for website links. Do not choose them for a first webhook message.

Keep labels useful: “Event details” tells a reader more than “Click here.”
